Kenya Githiru is an experimentally processed SL28 from Nyeri, grown at 1,700–2,000 meters on the slopes of Mount Kenya. Kenya built its reputation on the almost perfect discipline of classic washed processing — Githiru is what happens when a producer with this discipline deliberately chooses to step off the beaten path.

Produced by Othaya Coffee, this coffee takes the region's most famous varietal and puts it through a process that pushes an extra aromatic intensity into the cup. The result retains the structure and clarity of the SL28 varietal, but changes the classic berry register to something more tropical: juicy stone fruits, tangy passion fruit, and a bright cherry finish.

In the cup: peach, passion fruit, and cherry.

DABOV Specialty Coffee was founded in 2008 in Bulgaria, driven by the desire to redefine quality standards in the hot beverage industry. Its founder, Jordan Dabov, is an iconic figure in the field, being the only Bulgarian judge in the prestigious international Cup of Excellence (COE) competition. This expertise allows him to travel the world as a "coffee hunter," personally selecting rare, award-winning lots with scores over 86 points, which are then delivered directly to the roastery in Sofia.
