Kiangoi is a classic Kenyan profile, washed — fresh and crisp, with vibrant notes of redcurrant and a floral hibiscus character. A much-appreciated return from the Kiangoi station, managed by Rungeto Farmer's Cooperative Society.

The small region of Kirinyaga that the Kiangoi station serves, around the village of Ngariama, is primarily a tea-growing area, so most coffee plants are relatively young. Rich volcanic soils, less depleted by intensive farming, give the coffee remarkable density and clarity. Almost 99% of the farmers who deliver to Kiangoi grow SL28 and SL34.

In the cup: redcurrant, hibiscus, and a fresh, floral character.
