Ethiopia Karamo Washed is a super-light roasted washed coffee, grown at an altitude of 2,380 meters in the Sidama region — a finalist lot at the Global Coffee Awards 2025. We buy it directly from farmer Niguse Gemeda Mude, whose plot is located at an altitude that few origins can match.

The variety is 74158, a disease-resistant Ethiopian cultivar selected from the country's heirloom genetic heritage, known for a delicate and high-altitude profile. The cherries are depulped and fermented in water before drying on raised beds — the classic washed method that gives this coffee remarkable clarity and definition.

In the cup: stone fruits, honey, and dates.
