Sumo Coffee Roasters was founded in the summer of 2020 by the 2019 World Cup Taster Champion, Daniel Horbat. With a clear vision for ethics and quality, Sumo was born from the desire to build a transparent and fair supply chain in the coffee industry — from the farmers who carefully grow the beans to the baristas who transform them into in-cup experiences.

By promoting direct trade and fair prices for producers, the roastery aims to contribute to a more transparent and sustainable coffee industry.
